IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR HOMEOWNERS
In order to make a claim against our manufacturers warranty, you must have directly purchased the system from OMNIE Limited or Genuit UFH Limited. If you are a homeowner with an OMNIE system in your property, then you must contact the company or individual who installed the system. If you are unsure who installed your system or when it was installed please call us on 01392 36 36 05 and we can put you in touch with a authorised service provider.

Guarantee & Warranty Policy Wording

OMNIE has a strict policy of quality of control in all aspects of its business from design to manufacture of its products. We adhere to the British Standards where they apply to the designs, products or systems that OMNIE manufactures and produces. OMNIE systems have been tested for performance with BSRIA and TRADA where appropriate. OMNIE maintains professional indemnity insurance should there be any failure in the performance of a OMNIE design or specification. OMNIE also has in place public and product liability insurance. Full insurance details are available on request.

Our warranty cover does not replace or invalidate any cover that may be provided by a third party in relation goods that are not manufactured by us, but sold with our systems. Specifically these items are:

Heat Pumps
Thermal Storage Tanks
Heat Pump system components such as fittings, buffer tanks etc.
Ventilation & Heat Recovery units
Ventilation & Heat Recovery manifolds, ducting and other associated fittings

Any warranty cover that is available from a third party and its terms will be advised to you by your project manager or at the point of commissioning.

Our products, warranty periods, summary of cover and terms are set out below:

OMNIE Home Wiring Centre (Wired and Wireless)	5 years from date of system purchase.	Replacement with new product.
OMNIE Home Thermostats (Wired or Wireless)	5 years from date of system purchase.	Replacement with new product.
Screeds, adhesives and other wet components	See reverse of packaging. Only when mixed correctly as per the instructions shown.	Replacement with new product.
Heat Pump System	See separate Heat Pump Warranty cover - (link shown in footer)	Repair or replacement.
Mechanical Ventilation	Warranty provided by manufacturer of unit chosen (available on request or shown with paperwork delivered with unit on commissioning).	As per third party manufacturer.

Insurances
Design Reassurance	or Underfloor heating systems designed and supplied by OMNIE Limited or Genuit UFH Limited are covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of £5million.
Public Liability	Public liability insurance covers Genuit UFH Limited in the event of accidental injury to customers by our business operation, in addition to any damage to third party property while on business.
Products Liability	Product liability covers our legal liability in respect to injury to any third party or loss or damage to any third party property caused by any product we manufacture or supply.

System Design and Product Manufacturing Standards
BS EN 1264 - Floor heating systems and components.	All our systems are designed to meet or exceed this design standard.
BS EN 12831 - Heating Systems in Buildings	All our systems are designed to meet or exceed this design standard.
Building Regulations Parts L, E and F	All our products and designed systems conform to this standard.
Product Design and Testing Standards	Various by product. See product test certificates via our resources section on our website.
BSRIA Tests for Performance	All underfloor heating products manufactured by us have been tested at BSRIA for performance.

When the claim has been validated, the parts will be dispatched to the address on the form.

Conditions of Warranty
The warranty set out above only applies to manufacturing defects, which must be proved within the periods shown above. (See our terms and conditions of sale for further information). All warranty cover has the following exclusions; Any damage caused to a component, part or product by a third party. Any tampering, adjustment or modification by a third party without authorisation from the manufacturer or, where the part is manufactured by OMNIE, Genuit UFH Limited. Misuse of the product, part or component in the context of installation or any other activity (such as the connection to third party products that are not part of the OMNIE system design, use with incorrect relevant fluid, incorrect or forced fitting). Incorrect installation and failure to follow the manufacturers instructions, guidance or advice. Incorrect storage of products. Installation of products in an open-air environment or any such environment which is not weathertight or watertight. For screed, adhesives and other wet components where the mixture as been incorrectly mixed or is subjected to accelerated or artificial drying or setting. Any damage caused to a component, part or product by the incorrect relevant fluid temperature or any other fluid temperature which is not as per the designed relevant fluid temperature or otherwise. This list is not exhaustive.
